Our interest in wine arises from the fact of living in one of the best wine regions in the world. We have extensive experience in everything that revolves wine, tasting and grape culture.
Our headquarters are situated in Alella, a coastal town north of Barcelona, where you can find the best ‘Xarel.lo’ wines of the world. ‘Xarel.lo’ is a white grape variety of Catalonian origin that enriches the life, tradition and culture of the communities it serves.
Export Vinifera exports currently all over Europe, and we are planning on expanding all over world in the coming years.
Catalonia has a wine culture dating from the Ancient Greek era when they began to grow grapes and produce wine in Emporda. Later, Romans spread the wine growing culture to regions like Alella and Tarragona. Throughout history wine growing regions were extended up to the current 11, including the Cava, which has led to the establishment of more than 600 wineries. Our location and orography create diverse microclimates in each region that provide us with a range of very unique, peculiar and exceptional wines. The combination of ancient wine growing culture and expertise with the exceptional soil and climate makes Catalonia one of the best wine regions in the world.
Our philosophy is to provide access to uniquely expressive wines from all the wine regions in Catalonia. In our wine selection you will find very diverse wines specially chosen in a customer targeted way by our sommelier. We are currently working with 50 wineries and more than 250 different references.
